Privacy

What is collected

This website has no forms and does not ask for personal information. I only receive personal information if you email or call me, for example your name, contact details and what you ask about.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs (such as IP address and browser user agent) to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Booking a call

The "Book a free 15-minute call" link opens my Google Calendar booking page, run by Google. The name, email, phone number and answers you enter there go to Google and to me so I can call you at the booked time. Google handles them under its own privacy policy.

Domain email check

The email check on the home page runs in your browser. It asks Cloudflare's public DNS resolver (cloudflare-dns.com) for the domain's public SPF, DMARC and MX records. The domain you type is not sent to me or stored by this site. Cloudflare handles that lookup under its own resolver privacy policy.

Why, and who sees it

I use what you send me to reply, quote and do the work you ask for. I do not sell it or use it for advertising. I don't share it except with the service providers I use to run the business: email and phone providers, file storage, accounting software, and AI tools under the rules below. They process it only to provide that service.

Client information

Access, correction and complaints

Ask me at the contact details above and I will show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it where I can. If you have a concern, tell me first and I will try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Does the Privacy Act apply?

Most small businesses with annual turnover of $3 million or less are not covered by the Privacy Act 1988, with some exceptions (see the OAIC's small business guidance). I do not assume the exemption applies to me in every case, and I aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as good practice. Privacy law is under review, so this page will be updated if the rules change.

Cookies & tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, trackers or third-party embeds. That is why there is no cookie banner.

The optional "Display options" panel (for example text size and contrast) saves your choices in your own browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They stay on your device and are never sent to me or anyone else. You can clear them in your browser settings.

Accessibility

I aim for this site to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. The "Display options" panel lets you adjust the display to suit you. I have not had the site independently audited, so some barriers may remain.

If you hit a barrier, email a.crozier.it@gmail.com or call 0403 979 104, and I will work on a fix or give you the information another way.
